Jenny is a darling cavalier who came to SFCR after being released/retired from a commercial breeding program.
A note from her foster mom:
Jenny is the sweetest girl! She was very scared and unsure when she first arrived at our home. She now roams the house comfortably and comes to us for pets. She even likes to sit on our lap during a movie.
Jenny does like her kennel. It is her safe space. She sleeps in it at night with the door open, but that is where she wants to sleep. She LOVES toys! We call her our toy hoarder. She will sneak away toys and place them in her kennel. She loves to go after a ball. She will chase them and pick them up, but then right to her kennel they go!
She would likely do best with other dogs that are not possessive/aggressive about toys.
She is potty trained and has only had one accident. She loves to be outside and wants to be wherever her foster family is. She mingles well with all of her canine foster siblings.
Jenny would do well with older, respectful children and she would ideally have another confident dog to help teach her the ropes in her forever home. The other dogs help so much with her confidence.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Jenny has been spayed and also had a dental. She tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.
