It is impossible to spend any time with Lala without falling in love. This sweet girl is bursting with personality, and she has a great personality. She has a penchant for zoomies, a deep desire for connection with her people, obedience skills and great manners, with a dash of classic Husky silliness to liven it all up. She’s fun, bright and sweet girl, and she’ll get along great with your other dogs, and your kids!
We believe Lala to be a Husky mix of some sort, but she is a rescue, so this is just our best guess! She currently weighs in at a floofy 46 pounds, but she’s very mindful of her size and careful with her weight, even in peak-zoomie-mode. Lala is estimated to be around 5 years old, still the life of the party, but past all of the chaos of puppyhood.

Lala is described by those that know her best as “super sweet,” and “ joyful.” Lala will follow her people around for treats and affection, and auto-sits for treats. She’s super food motivated, and bonds with her people through training games, so any further training with her will be enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Lala has great leash manners, and she does well in the home. She loves toys too, she likes to chase them, and with a little practice she’ll be a pro at playing fetch!
With other dogs, Lala is a dream! She’s gentle and sweet, she shares toys, treats and affection with ease. She’s tolerant of the silliest antics from our rambunctious puppies here at the rescue. Watch her allow a puppy to “walk” her in her video! Lala is small dog friendly as well, and did well meeting small dogs here at the rescue.
Here at the rescue, Lala was tested with kids and we found that she does great with kids over ten! Lala loves toys too snuggle and be loved on, so naturally she enjoys the extra attention that children bring.
Lala would do well in a home with other dogs, or she could thrive as an only-dog, soaking up all of your attention for herself. Lala loves people, and does well on the leash, so we believe she would make an amazing adventure dog. She would love family dog life, with kids 10+ to run around with and play with. She is a huge fan of couch time, and does request a spot beside you on the couch as you wind down for the evening.
We can also see Lala as a great adventure fuel

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
