A23004 Koda is a brown and white colored, approximately 5-year-old, 54-pound, neutered male, Pitbull mix.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 12-28-2024 due to the fact they have medical issues not allowing them to care for a pet.
Koda is a friendly, sweet, easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff advised he is sweet, friendly and loves attention. They say you can tell he came from a good home with an owner who cared for him. He had a friendly interest in other dogs here at the shelter. He was easy to leash, no pulling and very well behaved. He has had some training and will “sit” “shake” and “stay” upon command. The previous owner says he is house broken and has lived with dogs and cats, but not children. Koda will be a loving, loyal companion in his new forever home.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
