Sasha weighs 88 pounds. She is a large dog. She was my mother's pet. My mother passed away in September 2024. My father is 89and is unable to continue Sasha's care. She does have a medical issue of hooded vulva which stays under control with consistent cleansing. She also has some behavioral issues due to improper and inconsistent training on the current owners part, but also due to trauma imprinted on her by neighbors who disliked her running and barking, IN HER OWN YARD, when she was just a pup. Therefore she hates ALL vehicles. That hatred on her part was not helped when my mother got in a vehicle to go to hospital and never returned. Sasha never saw my mother again.

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
