Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I`m the ultimate couch potato, folks! My name is Jax, and I`m a big ol` cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa and watching some good ol` sports on TV. Sure, I may not be the most athletic pup around, but what I lack in agility, I make up for in pure lounging prowess. I can lay by your side for hours, soaking up all the pets and attention you`re willing to give. And when it comes to cheering on the home team, I`m always ready to give a few enthusiastic tail wags. So if you`re looking for a furry sports fan to be your new best friend, I`m your guy! I am full grown at ~65 lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Wake County Animal Center when my owner could no longer care for me.
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
