My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Luna is a full figure beauty, a gentle grey tiger with the most endearing and soulful tear drop eyes. Although she is said to be an energetic senior, everything she does here at the care center is in slow motion. Luna loves company. She was in her home, a friendly and outgoing kitty, enjoying the presence of all. She does not stay in hiding, comes to meet her visitor, leans softly against my hand, purrs and ends up on my lap. She has such a sad little face...I want to take her home...Luna is with us as her owner was too ill to take care of her. What a loss for both of them...Luna, at the age of fourteen has still so much love to give and that is what gives her the strength to be up and about. She believes in You, the one who will see her beauty, her goodness and take her home as your beloved four legged best friend. Luna is at the Manhattan Care Center.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I lived with children in my previous home.

I have lived with cats in my previous home.

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.
