My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This wonderful boy, found on S. Southpark in Floral City, has a heart as big as his quiet, loving presence. Calm and gentle, he’s the kind of dog who melts into your life, asking for nothing more than your love and companionship. His favorite place is right by your side, where he can feel your touch and know he’s not alone. This sweet guy isn’t demanding—he’s simply grateful. He’ll softly offer you his paw as if to say, “I’m here, and I trust you.” He doesn’t bark or jump up for attention. Instead, he quietly soaks up every bit of kindness you give, returning it tenfold with his warm, soulful eyes.

Some of his favorite things include:
* Beggin’ Strips – his treat of choice!
* Car rides – he’s the perfect passenger, calm and content to cruise along.
* Leash walks – easy-going and well-mannered, he’s a pleasure to stroll with.
* Crate trained – a gentleman who’s comfortable settling in his space.

At 6-10 years old and 55 pounds, he’s the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. He’s not a big eater, but he does love his treats, and his calm demeanor makes him the perfect dog for anyone looking for a peaceful, loving companion. All adoptable dogs at Citrus County Animal Services come neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated, so this sweet boy is ready to start his next chapter—with you. To get on his wait list, contact Citrus County Animal Services at 352-746-8400 or email colleen.yarbrough@citrusbocc.com. ID# 57549776. If you’re looking for a best friend who asks for so little but gives so much, look no further. This sweet boy just wants to be loved—and he’s ready to give that love right back.
