Meet Mavis - a silky, energetic black cat who enjoys snuggling on a lap, especially on a pillow. She starts out a little skittish but warms relatively quickly. She is 2 years old, loves all ages of kids, and lets them pick up and carry her. Her prior family (with 5 kids) moved away and couldn't bring her. She has been spayed, is FIV negative, and has no health issues. Her shots are up to date for 3 years (rabies and Feline Leukemia/ FVRCP vaccines). She has been a 100% indoor cat since she was 6 months old. She has claws but has not been destructive. She is comfortable having someone trim her claws without needing to do so at a vet office. She is very chill and calm for claw trimming and shots. She adores toys of a wide variety and makes little chirrup noises to talk with me and her toys. She was previously bullied by another cat and has been aggressive with a timid older cat. She would thrive in a home (with or without kids) as a solo cat.
