My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo, an approximately 11 month old Great Pyrenees/Belgian Malinois mix pupper! He weighs in at right around 90lbs. This handsome boy tends to lean more towards his Pyrenees roots when it comes to his behavior/personality.

Milo can initially be a tad timid/aloof with new people, but warms up pretty quickly (although we’ve noticed he’s gaining some solid social skills as he spends more time in his foster home). He’s the biggest mush with his people, and will take every opportunity to politely ask for some love. Milo is a medium energy boy. He loves to run & play outside, and then will gladly curl up on the couch with you when it’s time for some cuddles. He also enjoys heading out on walks with his foster mom & siblings. He’s a goofy boy - he’ll keep you entertained with his playful antics. He loves to prance around outside with his foster siblings, and will gladly engage in play when they’re willing. We think he would absolutely thrive with another medium-large fur sibling or two in his new home. It took him a few days to settle in to his foster home, but now he’s best buddies with the 3 dogs in his foster home!

Milo is house trained & crate trained! Overall, he’s pretty well-behaved in the house (he does still occasionally have his puppy moments though!).

Medical details:

In some instances, a meet and greet is not possible before adoption unless we have a foster home in New England available. Available for a Meeting confirms the dog is in a NE Foster home and available for a meeting in the city state provided. Most times our dogs get adopted before a foster home becomes available - and if so, they go straight to the adopters home. Foster parents talk to adopters and feel confident that this will be a match before our dogs are transported up. Also if by some chance it is not a match we have a safety net in place as we ask that adopters to let us know that it is not a match and we direct you to take the dog to a foster home or boarding kennel once that is arranged. If necessary, we will ask you to foster the dog until a foster home can be arranged.

Transport details:
We use Rescue Road Trips (rescueroadtrips.com), Pets LLC (petsllc.net) or CAFA Transport to deliver our precious pups on commercial rescue animal transport to designated locations. The fee is 185.00 which IS INCLUDED in your adoption fee already.
**Rescue Road Trips, was featured on The Today Show - view it at http://www.today.com/video/today/55034556#55034556. Rescue Road Trips also has a Facebook page also.

MA and NH RESIDENTS:
If you are a Massachusetts or New Hampshire resident, an additional fee of $125.00 will apply due to State quarantine fee requirements. If the dog is in a foster home in MA or NH, this fee will be added in the adoption fee regardless of where the adopters home is located making the total adoption fee $715.00 for puppies/adults and $540.00 for Seniors. This includes a 48 quarantine, recheck by a MA licensed veterinarian and issued a MA health certificate.
