Here's what my friends at the shelter have to say about me! "Alaska is gorgeous!!! She is super friendly and gets along with dogs and humans alike. She is such a happy girl and always wagging her tail. Today when passing by her kennel she was holding a toy in her mouth and tippy tap dancing showing me how proud she was of her toy. She's a good mix of husky/lab and all the good qualities of both. You can tell she's a smart girl with a cute timidness about her that is so endearing."

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
