Meet Oaf Oaf, an 8 year old cockatiel who is on the hunt for his new bestie. This little guy is a friendly, happy bird who has a singular goal of finding out how he can get attention 24/7. He spends most of time hanging out with his foster mom, staring at his foster mom from his cage so that she will let him out, and calculating what time his foster mom will be home so that he can start luring her over to him with his singing. His least favorite things are being ignored, when his foster mom is on the phone, and pretty much any time that his foster mom is not directly interacting with him. He also really loves his pellets and being misted with a spray bottle, so finding a home that can consolidate those things with also receiving attention at all times would be ideal. If you are looking at adding a fun-loving bird to your home, this guy is it! Adoption fee: $120

We will review your application, and perform a background check, vet check and when applicable, a landlord check.

For most species, a meeting is required. For some species, multiple meetings may be needed or required.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Take the Pet Home

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.
