Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
These girls came to us as owner surrenders from the same home. We aren't sure if they're biologically related (although they definitely look similar!) We would love if they went to their forever home together since they previously lived together. Violet, the darker tabby, is about two years old and Thistle, the lighter tabby, is a bit younger at around one year old. They're both average sized cats at about 7lbs each and they have shown to do well with other cats in our free roaming cat room.
Violet and Thistle are both very, very sweet but also very, very shy. They prefer cozy beds, crinkly tunnels, hideaways, and corners to spend their time in rather than be out in the open in the middle of everything. They're quiet and mellow girls that would do well in a home that doesn't have a lot going on. Other cats are okay and kids would be fine too as long as they know not to pull on any tails or whiskers. Dogs would also probably be fine as long as they are laidback and will let the girls do their own things.
If you're looking for a pair of cats that will share your space and be quiet, constant companions without being complete wrecking balls, these are your girls.

More about this shelter
Forever Paws Animal Shelter gives animals a renewed leash on life by assisting them while homeless, in danger, or generally in need. We work in collaboration with our Law Enforcement Agencies, members of the public, and other organizations to improve the lives of animals. Our mission is to re-home animals in an ethically positive way that is beneficial to the overall well-being of the animal and our community.
Forever Paws works to give animals the gift of time through managed intake. This allows us to offer comprehensive treatment and care to stray, abused, or abandoned animals. Forever Paws continues to operate under no-kill practices, offering care for all treatable conditions with no restrictions on length of stay. We will always place the quality of life of an animal as our most paramount charge. Forever Paws is devoted to educating future generations to foster compassionate and humane attitudes towards all species of animal.
We are a non-profit organization, relying on donations, fundraising, and dedicated benefactors and supporters.
