A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home

Sadie is a sweet and loving 7 year old German Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit. She’ll melt your heart with her signature smile when greeting you. While she’s confident at home, she can become a bit uneasy if she’s unsure of her surroundings—she just loves the comfort of familiar spaces and people.

Joey, a short and cuddly 4 year old Labradoodle, is as easygoing as they come. His relaxed demeanor makes him the perfect companion. Just make sure to take him out regularly to avoid accidents—he thrives with a consistent routine.

These two are inseparable and share a deep bond. They need to be re-homed through no fault of their own. Their elderly owner can no longer care for them and wants to ensure they find a loving, stable home together.

Submit Application

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

IF YOU CAN NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION ON OUR SITE PLEASE EMAIL US AT: questions@awishforanimals.org and we will send you an application.

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
