Meet Ruth and Alice A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Perfect Home
These special kitties are ready to bring their unique charm into a quiet, cat-loving home. They thrive in the company of one another and would like to stay together. These sisters were hand-raised with love in a WCAL foster home and we need your help to find them a peaceful indoor life.
Ruth is a petite 4-year-old short haired tortoiseshell cutie with a little extra wobble in her step due to cerebellar hypoplasia (similar to cerebral palsy in humans). Shes full of life and absolutely adorable. Ruth only needs pet stairs or ramps to help her access furniture, and silicone bowls to eat from to protect her teeth from chipping on hard dishes. Her health is stable and CH is not life-threatening. Ruth adores pets, scritches, and wand-toy playtime even though she doesnt spend much time in a lap. Ruth can coexist with calm cats or dogs but appreciates having her own space to feel secure.
Alice is the definition of a princessa dainty and sensitive soul who prefers quiet, gentle environments. Her luxurious medium-hair tortoiseshell coat is as soft and fine as her personality. Alice may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, youll be rewarded with moments of sweet affection in the form of lap cuddles and headbutts. She loves cozy cave beds, gentle chin scritches, and slow, soft pets. Alice gets along with chill cats or dogs and enjoys her wand-toy playtime.
Ruth and Alice love freeze-dried chicken and Churu treats, and they play together beautifully, though theyve not enjoyed the playful advances of a more socially outgoing resident cat. Both travel well in the car but are hesitant in new places, needing patience and time to settle in. They would not do well in a busy household with loud children but will thrive in a serene environment where they can feel safe and loved. These two are affectionate and playful on their terms and thrive in a calm, predictable environment. Theyre not interested in human food, are not destructive, and always use their litter boxes. Loud noises, bustling households, or persistent attention from people or other animals can overwhelm them. They are unsure of new things and do best when given time to adjust and interact on their own terms.
Are you the patient, loving adopter who can offer these lovely ladies the peaceful home they deserve? Their ideal adopter is open to caring for special needs pets and is willing to make a few special accommodations (like padding sharp corners and including a baby gate at the base of a stair case). A home without animals who will chase or harass Ruthie is ideal. This duo should be indoor-only kitties, but they'd love a catio to sunbathe in. They are both spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy and are all about the snuggles and clowning around. Welcome to the wonderful world of wobbles. It is really challenging not to fall for this sweet duo! Ruth and Alice are waiting for you to bring them into your life and help them flourish.
