My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for an all-around great dog come and meet Suzie. I can’t say enough about her. She really impressed me! Not only is she statuesque and beautiful, she also has a winning personality. She is a one year-old 56 pound brown, black, tan German Shepherd that came to Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/30. She strolled around the yard taking her time with her nose to the ground. Her sense of smell is obviously important to her. It took several times, but she did sit upon request and took the offered treats gently. She comes when you call her. Then she leans into you to enjoy having her ears scratched. When I was walking around the yard she followed me. She’s easy-going, sweet, gentle, well mannered, affectionate and definitely wants to please. She wagged her tail sniffing other dogs. As gentle as she is she would most likely do well with children. She would need a yard to stretch her legs in but would want to spend most of her time cozying up with her new family next to them on the couch or at their feet in her bed.
