This helps Atlanta Lab Rescue with pet care costs.
Libby is a two-year-old, tiny 33-pound mix that was scheduled to be euthanized the week of Christmas because she came in with an injured leg, and no one reclaimed her. We committed to getting three other dogs from that shelter, so they thought they'd see if we could take her, too. We named her Libby and were lucky enough to find a foster. It turns out the injury is old and, according to our orthopedic surgeon, has almost completely healed itself in a very workable manner. He recommended a few more weeks of cage rest. Libby has captured everyone's heart. She is super sweet and easy, great in the house and with other large and small dogs and cats. She's literally the perfect pet! If you want to foster or adopt Libby, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply.
