My name is Chunkies!

Meet Chunkies! Chunkies was a stray cat that I used to feed while living at an apartment complex. When I moved, I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving Chunkies behind, so I took him in. I took him to the vet where I found out he had FIV. He has not begun to show any symptoms of this. Everything was going great with Chunkies until I had my baby. Suddenly, Chunkies got very territorial and started to spray on all of my baby’s items. I tried everything I could to get this to stop including trying to neuter him. The pre bloodwork showed that because of his FIV there was a chance he would not recover from surgery and the vet said it probably wouldn’t stop him from spraying since he didn’t do it until after I brought my baby. I couldn’t do it. I resorted to keeping him in my guest bedroom. He has become scared of me and it breaks my heart knowing the loving kitty he used to be. I just want him to get the love he deserves and to go back to his old lovable self.
