My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noodles is a 6 year old female leopard gecko. She is a beautiful girl and handles very well. Noodles is currently in a 20 gallon long enclosure which is the absolute minimum size for an adult leopard gecko. We would love to see her go into a 40 gallon enclosure so she has more room to explore! She will require 3 hides, a hot hide, moist, and cool, plus as much decor as you can squeeze in! (She LOVES exploring) Noodles is curently on non adhesive shelf liner substrate with overhead heat. Leopard geckos can live 20-25 years in captivity so please understand the commitment you are making when adopting.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
