Meet Venus! Venus is a 2 year old female beagle from a shelter in KY. She is so very sweet and tries to please. She knows sit, down and sometimes even gives paw. She’s a medium energy dog who loves to explore with her beagle nose. She loves sniff mats and squeaky toys. She’s friendly with children, but would do best in a home with older children. She gets nervous around new dogs, she would do fine in a home with another dog as long as that dog knows how to respect personal space. She is crate trained, appears to be potty trained but does pull a bit on a leash when she wants to follow her nose. She’s a sweet and smart girl who is going to make a great companion!

Submit Application

First you will need to submit an application on our website. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers to process.

2.
Home Check

This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process.

3.
Approve Application

Once you have been approved you will need to contact us via email or Facebook to add your name to the list for one of our dogs.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your name comes up in the order of approved adopters, the foster will contact you to schedule a meeting.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have had a meet and greet you get 24 hours to think of weather you'd like to adopt. Both the foster and adopter must mutually agre
