Perfect senior potato Jakey is a big, mellow purrball that just wants a calm and loving home to spend his golden years. One of his favorite activities is rolling around on the floor and staring at you until you pet him. He would be great in a home with other calm pets or children who can match his lower key energy, but would also do well in a less social environment as long as he gets his daily dose of belly rubs.
PAWS is working through a possible/pending IBD diagnosis for Jakey, and his future adopter should plan to have him established at a full-service vet asap post-adoption, to make sure he can continue thriving well into his golden years! He is a senior kitty who gets a sensitive tummy sometimes, so he recently also started a hypoallergenic diet in case of dietary sensitivities vs IBD. His symptoms manifest as occasional nausea, but otherwise has had a fantastic appetite and is showing no signs of slowing down despite his age!
Age: 14 years
How I came to PAWS: Owner passed away
Animal ID#: A178971
