My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m Simon, a solid gray male kitten who came to Animal Ark after being taken in by a kind person who realized I was surviving on my own. My rescuer described me as friendly, playful, and active--after all, I`m a kitten! I was around other cats, dogs, and children, and I was happy and playful with everyone. I can`t go to a home with children under the age of five years old. It would be great to go to a home with an active, playful feline friend. I`d love to introduce myself to you when you come to visit Animal Ark.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
