Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tashi was actually a cat that belonged to my daughter, who left my home when she was 14 a few years ago to live with an adult sibling to be safe because of a domestic abuse situation I was in with a stepfather after their dad died. My daughter is 18 now and doesn't want her cat back because the cat was given to her by the abuser and is a trigger for her. All this has nothing to do with the cat. Tashi is so affectionate and sweet and deserves so much more attention than I can give her. I've been working crazy hours on a dairy farm and I'm hardly home.
And now in a month, I will be relocating, because I'm getting married and there is a huge Weimariner dog in that home that would eat this cat for a snack.
