My name is Journey!

Journey is a beautiful and affectionate 9-year-old spayed pit bull terrier mix. She is good-natured and loving, and has been an excellent companion for my father, who adopted her from the Waco Humane Society three years ago.

Sadly, it is time for my dad to move into senior housing, and Journey will not be allowed to follow him. He is very sad about this, and hopes to be able to visit her if her new family resides in the Waco, Texas area.

Journey is house-broken, though she is not leash-trained. She has spent most of her time with my dad inside of his house with him, mainly going outside to use the bathroom or when he needs to leave to run errands. We have not seen her around other animals so cannot be sure of her behavior toward them, but she has never been aggressive in any way toward any person; while her size and obvious pit bull features may look intimidating, she is a sweetheart who lovingly and enthusiastically greets all who come near.
