My name is Ozzie!

Ozzie is a 2 year old male German Shepherd mix, who is very sweet and basically just a big ole baby! He looooooves belly rubs, leaning against your legs like a cat, trying to sit on your lap, and car rides. While Ozzie was a bit unsure about a baby goat that he saw when taken to Tractor Supply (who wouldn’t be?), he’s great with other dogs and curious about cats. Ozzie is THE life of the party … he likes to say ‘hi’ to everyone he meets, and will even bark if you’re not giving him the attention he knows he deserves! This lovable guy is smart and very treat-motivated, so will learn quickly, letting him thrive in any home. So if you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Ozzie is your boy!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
