7-month old Fernet is a joy! She is observant, smart, and spunky. It's hard not to be smitten with her cute personality, shiny chocolate brown coat, and soulful green eyes. She has a medium energy level on the puppy spectrum, but is independent enough to amuse herself with toys (especially squeaky ones) when she has a burst of play energy. She loves being around her favorite people and is super sweet and snuggly.
Although Fernet can be a bit shy with new people at first, if she is given some space to get comfortable with a new person, she warms up quickly. She sleeps through the night in her crate and will happily nap in her crate if she's tired. She is making very good progress with potty training and with a little more time and guidance should be a pro in no time. A fan of other dogs and very enamored with her doggo foster brother, she would be happy having a fellow dog sibling, but would also be ok as a solo dog.
Fernet would thrive in any home where she is given lots of love and continued positive reinforcement training. Follow her in foster with @fosterpuppyhour510 on Instagram! Click here to learn how to adopt, and submit your adoption questionnaire.
