?? ?? Meet Luna – The Sweetest Soul Looking for Her Forever Home! ?? Luna is a beautiful, wise, and gentle dog with kind eyes that seem to hold a lifetime of love. While she has a calm and serene spirit, Luna also has a playful, puppy-like side that comes out when she chases leaves, pounces in the snow, or does summersaults with joy. What Makes Luna Special? ?? Sweet and Loving: Everyone who meets Luna calls her “sweet.” She adores belly rubs, snuggles, and just being close to her humans. ?? Super Smart: Luna is eager to please and a quick learner. She mastered “sit” and “don’t touch” in a week and has perfected her house-training with positive reinforcement. ?? Playful and Fun: Luna has no resource guarding issues and will happily drop a toy for another throw. Her zoomies are legendary, and she loves to run and play with other dogs. ?? Great with Kids and Dogs: Luna is friendly, gentle, and loves to play with other dogs. Her puppy energy shines through when she has a buddy to romp with. ?? She LOVES the snow and is happiest outdoors or playing with her people. Separation Anxiety While Luna is an incredible dog, she does struggle with separation anxiety. When left alone, she panics but will eventually settle in her safety crate. However, this is a work in progress, and Luna needs an adopter who can be patient and consistent as she learns to feel safe and secure. Having another dog in the home could significantly ease her anxiety, as she draws comfort from companionship. What Luna Needs: Luna deserves a home filled with love, patience, and the promise that she will never be abandoned again. She would thrive in a family where she gets plenty of affection, playtime, and reassurance. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and truly amazing companion, Luna is ready to bring endless joy and love into your life. Luna is spayed and up to date with age appropriate vaccines. She has been treated for fleas and internal parasites. Complete our online adoption application http://www.coastalk9.ca/adopt. Let’s find Luna the forever home she deserves – because she really, truly is the goodest girl. ?? IF WE HAVE YOUR APPLICATION ON FILE PLEASE EMAIL adopt@coastalk9.ca TO EXPRESS INTEREST. Only selected applicants will be notified to continue the application process. Located in Antigonish County

More about this rescue
Coastal K9 Rescue Society is a non-profit, volunteer dog rescue society serving Nova Scotia and beyond. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances and/or those in danger of abuse or neglect.
Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.
Coastal K9 Rescue Society remains interested in and committed to the welfare of the dog beyond the adoption process.
Finally, we strive to work with other rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.
