My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

El Padre is not just a cat; he’s a legend in his own right. With his strikingly handsome looks and an air of quiet regality, this sweet and lovable boy is ready to rule your heart (and your couch). Whether he's lounging like royalty or politely reminding you it’s snack time, El Padre knows how to make every moment feel special.

He’s a social butterfly with the perfect touch of chill, making him a great fit for cat-savvy kids who know how to treat a king. While he hasn’t had the pleasure of meeting other animals, his adaptable nature suggests he’ll handle most situations with grace.

El Padre is currently on a diet to shed a few pounds—think of him as a work-in-progress masterpiece. With a little help from his future family, he’s bound to become the svelte superstar he was born to be.

Ready to add a dash of charm and sophistication to your home? El Padre is waiting for his forever kingdom!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
