Moo is looking for a new home. Moo was brought into the shelter by animal control on 12/19/24. He is an Australian Shepherd mix, black, white, and grey and about 1-2 years old. The smart, playful, and endlessly energetic Australian Shepherd mix! With his beautiful blend of intelligence and agility, Moo is always ready for an adventure, whether it’s a hike in the hills, a game of fetch, or a round of agility training. His striking coat of merle and white fur matches his vibrant personality, and his expressive eyes seem to always be scanning for the next fun activity. Known for his herding instincts, Moo can’t help but keep an eye on the action and make sure everyone’s in line. While he loves being active, Moo’s also a big fan of cuddles and affection, always ready to curl up at your feet after a day of exploring. Loyal, playful, and full of love, Moo is a perfect mix of brains and heart—making him the best companion you could ask for. Can you help him get out before it’s too late? This is a high kill shelter and no place for Moo! Bainbridge Shelter has a wonderful Pilots N Paws program and he can be flown anywhere in the state to his new home. More about this rescue
Vision Statement: Our vision is to create a better world where all animals are treated with kindness and respect for their individuality, and seen as intelligent, sensitive, and sacred creations on earth. Rescue Dogs Dream Mission Statement: Working as a non-profit, all-volunteer group of animal lovers, RDD is committed to providing daily high-quality care to dogs selected mainly from local shelters who are either “at risk”, not thriving well in traditional shelter environments, or elderly or sick shelter dogs in need of medical or hospice care provided in foster homes. Our commitment is to compassion and dedication in providing for the mental, behavioral, medical and emotional needs of each individual animal.
In a home like environment, we provide a safe and relaxed life style where they can decompress and blossom into their “best selves” until a permanent responsible loving home is found for each one. We are dedicated to finding the best possible home and are painstaking about background checks and careful screening of potential adopters.
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to rescuing, training, rehabilitating and daily care of abandoned, stray and homeless animals, providing them with a loving, safe environment in which to decompress and thrive until they find their forever homes. We believe lonely, confused, scared animals in shelters don't exhibit their best and deserve a second chance with a clean slate. We take our convictions and turn them into action. In our rescue our dogs will experience a home like environment with typical noises like washing machines and vacuum cleaners and homey smells of baking treats. They will become socialized and acclimated to walks, baths, grooming.
