Belo is a 5-month-old male kitten who is as affectionate as he is adorable. Though he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his sweet and loving personality to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Belo will come up to you for pets, purring like crazy and kneading biscuits to show his happiness.

Rescued from a cat colony, Belo is used to hanging out and chilling with other cats, making him a great companion for feline friends. While his compatibility with dogs is unknown, his friendly and gentle nature suggests he could adapt well with proper introductions.

Belo is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. If you’re looking for a cuddly and affectionate addition to your family, Belo is ready to fill your home with love and purrs!

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
