What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We’re looking for a loving home for Emi, our 4-year-old dog, as our busy schedules no longer allow us to give her the attention she deserves. We adopted her four years ago from my uncle’s coworker, who had a litter of puppies, and Emi quickly became a cherished part of our family. She has a gentle, loving nature, though she does have some anxiety around loud noises, new people and is very aware of her surroundings. Once she’s comfortable, she’s a cuddly and affectionate companion. Emi is mostly a homebody who loves to relax and nap but enjoys her little walks. She gets along well with my brother’s dog and our cat, though we’re unsure how she’d interact with other pets. She’s a true attention lover but is also very mischievous! She’ll let you know when she’s craving affection—whether it’s by whining, showering you with kisses, or even jumping up to get your attention. We’re hoping to find her a new family who can provide her with the care and calm environment she needs.
