Hoover is a 1 year old Corgi mix looking forward to a life of treats and belly rubs! Hoover was rescued from the shelter along with a few of his vacuum pals. The shelter was overcrowded and we knew we couldn’t leave this handsome boy behind, so we scooped him up and brought him to safety! Hoover weighs 16 pounds and has that perfect long and low body that lovers of the breed will recognize instantly! Are you ready for a new best friend with unique coloring? Adopt Hoover today!

Hoover is a total love bug looking for his forever people to show him all the adoration he deserves! Hoover has a tail that never stops wagging as he goes from person to person getting cuddles and lap time. He adores all his foster humans and follows them around faithfully. Hoover is a fabulous option for a WFH human, as he is always down for a lounge as you take calls before roping you into playtime. Hoover is very food motivated and will do just about anything for a yummy snack! Hoover is a bit more laid back but he does love to play and romp around the backyard! Hoover would love to find a home ready to shower him in love and cuddles. Hoover is a total sweetheart with a gentle and sweet demeanor. He has a unique colored coat that is super soft and lovely to pet. This sweet boy can’t wait to meet you and start a lifetime of adventures and fun with you! He will be the greatest holiday treat of all, we promise.

Hoover wakes up at 7 AM and goes right outside to potty. He has breakfast and then goes on his morning stroll. During the day, he keeps himself occupied with his toys and his naps. He keeps foster mom company as she works at her desk and is always ready for a treat break! After the workday ends, Hoover heads out on a neighborhood walk before returning home for dinner at 6 PM. In the evening, he lounges in the living room soaking up all the cuddles and snuggles. He goes out for one last potty before heading to bed at 9 PM.

Hoover currently lives with several dogs and they get along well after they were slowly introduced. Hoover is still working on leash walking and would benefit from additional training and socialization. He has some initial shyness when meeting new people but once you win him over he loves you forever! Our little man has so much love to show the world and we know you’ll fall madly in love with him from minute one! Pick up a brand new Hoover today!

Hoover is an option for homes with prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 9.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
