Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Homer! This goofy 1 year old, neutered male Chihuahua mix just came to our shelter from New Mexico and he is already having a blast playing with his new friend, Agatha. Homer should do well in a home with kids and other friendly dogs but we always recommend a slow introduction as not everyone becomes friends right away.
This sweet boy would love to find a home where he can go on fun walks (with a comfy jacket during the cold months!) and explore the mountains.

Cats are $70.00, kittens are $100. Dogs are $100.00 and puppies are $150. This includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, microchips, a voucher for a free health exam at a local vet. We require photo identification and required adoption paperwork. You may take your new pet home the same day. There is a 7 day grace period for a refund to make sure that the animal is a fit for your household.

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
