Meet Ember! She and Dixie are 1 Year and 5 Months Old Sisters!

These lovely ladies are a unique mix of Rottweiler, German Shepherd, and Australian Shepherd. Ember and Dixie are great with other dogs, children, and even chickens. Unfortunately, their former owners were unable to provide a safe and suitable home for them, but these sisters are ready for a fresh start.

Ember and Dixie are both smart and quick to learn, especially when it comes to leash training and navigating their daily morning walks. They are food motivated. Dixie often looks to Ember as her guide, making their bond even more special. They both have happy attitudes and are
adaptable. They love playing in the snow.

Once trust is established, they are friendly and affectionate. While Ember and Dixie can be adopted separately, it would be ideal if they could stay together, as they share a close bond. They would make wonderful companions for someone looking for a pair of loyal and loving dogs.

We are a non-profit, volunteer run no-kill animal shelter located in the town of Emmett, Idaho. We provide food, water, shelter, and most of all love for homeless pets until they find their forever homes.
