Found in the middle of the highway in downtown Estherville by city workers as a tiny kitten, its safe to say that Abigail is one lucky little kitten! Abigail was born June of 2024 and she's an adorable little tabico. She is a little girl and open for lots of love or just a snooze in a comfy spot. She would be fine in a house with other cats and kittens or even on her own as long as she has some toys to keep her busy. Abigail is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants.

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
