My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Piano has improved nicely since her first assessment. Piano is resting inside the den appeared calm, sniff treats, and allowed all petting while remaining gentle and sweet. Partial pick up was attempted and he was tolerant. He loves squeeze up treats.

My foster writes: Meet Piano, the affectionate and energetic feline who's always by your side, seeking cuddles, companionship, and a bit of fun! This lovable boy is a self-proclaimed shadow, following you around the house, weaving through your legs, and ensuring you never feel alone. Whether you're lounging on the couch or doing daily chores, Piano will likely be right there, curling up next to you for some bonding time or chirping for you to abandon what you're doing to play. His favorite way to spend the afternoon? Tucking himself against you, or draping across your arm, ready for a few gentle scratches under the chin.
Piano has a playful side too! He's an expert fetch player with a strong hunting instinct. His favorite toys are small fake mice and fishing pole toys, and he's always ready for a game. But keep in mind, his zoomies can be intense, especially if he gets a little stir-crazy. Without enough stimulation or human company, he can have energetic bursts of growling zoomies where he races through the house, but they tend to subside once he's had his fill of action.
Though Piano is as sweet as can be, he does require a bit of patience when it comes to his boundaries. He can be sensitive to petting and may show signs of petting aggression, so it's important to read his cues and respect his space when needed. A home without young children would be ideal for this quirky, lovable guy who thrives on attention, playtime, and snuggles. He's a true companion for someone who can give him the time, care, and affection he craves-he just wants to be part of your world!

A volunteer writes: Piano is astonishing in looks and personality and he seems joyously unaware about all of it. Simply going about his day, he's not really looking to be the star of the show, and yet... Popping his great fluffy cheeks outside of his cubby, he pretty much is. Once I introduced myself, Piano looked at me as though asking what we were going to do next. Then he said, nevermind and slid his little kitty self into my arms. All of his extra cheek fluff gives him turbo sliding abilities and he uses this to his full advantage, slipping and sliding this way and that to cuddle. Piano was brought to us with other cats and is really hopeful for another chance. To get his chance at a forever home, Piano knows that he has to come out of his little cubby and say hi. He's happy to do this, but since he's a cat, he'll also let everyone know when it's time to take a little break. Piano is hopeful that someone will see the wonderful kitty inside all of this fluff and we are too!
