My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Holy moly, can I tell you some stories about my life before being rescued! I was witnessed being dragged out of a car and dumped on the street after I had very obviously just given birth. I spent days frantically running the streets looking for my puppies before I was finally caught by animal control. A few days later, I was pulled by a rescue, went into foster, and I have been living my best life ever since.

My name is Nora, and, despite the life I've lived, all I want is to love and to be loved. Cuddling is my absolute favorite. I'm a very docile girl, but I'm up for a walk or a hike if it means I get to spend time with you.

I'm good with other dogs, kids, and probably cats. I'm potty trained on a schedule and crate trained. I weigh about 50lb, I'm up to date on my vaccines and routine lab work and microchipped, and my Christmas gift was a much deserved spay!

More about this rescue

There are “adoptable” rescue dogs and there are “unadoptable” rescue dogs. At Olyver & Co, the “unadoptable” dogs are our jam. Everyone deserves a second chance and judging a dog’s behavior or personality based on how they act in an environment or situation that stresses them out is, simply, not fair.

Our mission is to provide a safe place to land and rehabilitation to the dogs who need it most - the ones most other rescues wouldn’t touch. Our mission is not “retail rescue” or “flipping dogs.” Our fosters may take longer to find their families, but we’ll be cheering them on and advocating for them until they do.
