Give Chance a Chance. Chance is apx 2-3 years young and 8.2 pounds. He is a sweet and gentle boy, a little skittish and timid at first but that does not last long and he is in your lap giving all the loves and hugs. He never bites and is never aggressive and he will let you pick him up but the 1st day or two he will take some sweet talking and baby talk, coaxing to get him yo come to you, he growls a lot under his breath like talking, this is of course standoffish to people but he is not being aggressive, it is almost like he is nervous so he growls instead of cries, he is honestly a giant baby and all talk with no action. He is good with dogs but can be nippy with them if he feels threatened or cornered, he is a chi terrier mix and very handsome. Chance has a bad left eye, this could have been a deformity /birth defect or an old injury that has healed over. His eye does not bother him but waters sometimes and just needs a little wipey once in a while. Chance has probably been living on the streets most of his life. He was absolutely disgusting when we got him, covered in dirt, 3 baths later he was a clean and happy boy. He still has those unsure street trauma moments but he is learning very quickly the rescue and the people here caring for him are pretty awesome. He is really happy now, dances and does fun little spins and jazz hands, he loves me giving him hugs and he gives hugs back. He a good boy. He just needs a chance.
