My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iris is sweet, affectionate, & excellent with small children. We are rehoming her because we had to move into a smaller home, & she doesn't have the space or attention she needs.
We adopted Iris as a puppy, & she has always shared a home with another dog and children. She has not been exposed to other types of pets. She plays well with others, but is dominant.
Iris is the perfect family dog & deserves a home with tons of affection! She is mild-mannered & has never shown any signs of aggression aside from barking/alerting when someone knocks on the door or approaches the home. She wants to be close by your side at all times, & she does show signs of some separation anxiety through chewing when left unattended. She knows basic commands, but she needs a deliberate approach with training. She is not registered, but she does qualify for AKC registration.
Iris sometimes favors her back leg due to a hip injury that she got as a puppy. She was spayed in October 2024.
