-In foster
-Adult, domestic shorthair, male
-Poe is initially timid but will slowly warm up overtime.
-He tends to be cautious and reserved in new situations.
-He likes pets and to be brushed, but he can get overstimulated so watch for signs of overstimulation and keep sessions short.
-Poe enjoys sitting on your lap, providing warmth and companionship.
-He loves looking out the window and will often be heard meowing at the sights outside.
-He enjoys playing with toys like strings and wand toys.
-Poe is a focused feeder and will let you know when it’s time to eat by following you and vocalising his needs.
-Poe was declawed prior to coming into the care of EHS.
-Poe is spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

POE’S IDEAL HOME:
-Poe doesn’t seem bothered by other cats, as long as they`re friendly to him.
-We are not sure how Poe would do in a home with small children or other pets.
-He will thrive with a family that understands his need for patience and love, and earn his trust to help build his confidence.
-He requires a home where he can feel safe and cherished.
