My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After 8 years of dedicated service as the face of “Jake from State Farm,” this dependable and charming gentleman has traded in his khakis and red polo for a well-earned retirement. Now, Jake is embracing the slower pace of life and is on the hunt for a loving forever home where he can truly enjoy the good life.

Jake may no longer answer late-night calls, but his loyalty and commitment remain unmatched. He’s the perfect companion for cozy nights in, leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, or just keeping you company while you work from home. His calm demeanor and warm personality make him a natural at spreading joy and comfort.

While Jake has left the corporate grind behind, he’s ready to take on a new role as your full-time best friend. He’s great with people of all ages, loves belly rubs, and thrives on quality time with his favorite humans. Jake is proof that retirement isn’t the end—it’s a new beginning, and he’s ready to share it with you.

If you’re ready to give Jake the retirement he deserves, come meet him today. He’s ready to show you that, like a good neighbor, he’ll always be there!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
