My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mango is a very sweet, large, fluffy, friendly boy who is approximately 9 years old and weighs about 70lbs.

He lived previously with smaller dogs and a proper introduction is always best. He is good with the foster's 7 year old granddaughter and everyone else he meets. Due to his size and the accidental chance he might bump into a little one, kids need to be 5+ years old.

Mango is house trained, affectionate, likes playing with toys, loves any bone you give him and enjoys a little taste of Peanut Butter for a treat. He enjoys being 'near' his people too!

Anyone looking for an older, loving dog needs to meet Mango!

Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!

Our adoption fee is $ 300.00 , unless otherwise noted in the pet's description. A completed Adoption Application is required prior to meeting an animal. Vet references will be checked, and then an appointment may be scheduled to meet the pet.

Magnificent Mutt is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, hope and a safe sanctuary to our animals in need. They transport, foster, feed and train our many animals. The volunteers give their time and love to the dogs so the dogs learn that humans do indeed care. Not all volunteers foster; their are many other areas where help is needed such as: organizing/running adoption and fundraising events, writing/creating flyers, and other various marketing efforts. We work as a team, and use all of our skills to benefit the animals and the organization.
