Hello, my name is Bernard. I`m a handsome boy of 10 years and I`m looking for a forever family. I`m a sweet boy but a bit overwhelmed by the shelter environment still, I tend to hide under my bed. I do enjoy attention and am quite friendly when I`m comfortable in my surroundings. I make a great couch potato and lap cat though I also enjoy spending time by myself. I have lived with other cats and do well with them. I get a bit overwhelmed by really active/noisy places so I`m looking for a mellow and loving family to spoil me throughout my golden years.

We are a non-profit Animal Shelter located in Menominee, Michigan. We take in stray and surrendered dogs and cats from several counties, averaging 1,000 animals per year. Our priority is to reunite the strays with their owner and adopt the unclaimed or surrendered pets into loving forever homes.
