My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Theodore! 🤎

This milk chocolate 🍫 Standard Poodle puppy is just 7 months old and ready for his forever home. He was born May 19, 2024 and his parents are Mone & Neco, who we rescued a few months ago.

Like any puppy, he’s very energetic and will need lots of attention, play time and someone home a lot. He LOVES other dogs his size and having a fenced yard to romp around in, both of which would be ideal in his forever home too. He is house-trained, crate-trained and doing great with leash training.

Theodore is 32lbs currently, but only 7 months old, so he still has growing to do. His mom is a very petite standard around 35lbs, but his dad is closer to 50lbs. He is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and being neutered this week. He is in Wesley Chapel and his adoption fee is $500.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
