My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovely Kai is looking for her family! She is a stunning husky mix weighing 62lbs and estimated to be 3yrs old. Kai’s thriving in her foster home and loves getting her ya-yas out by playing with her new foster sis. She’s housetrained and is making quick strides with crate-training. Within the daily routine of a home, she's becoming more relaxed and confident by the day. While she's still sometimes wide-eyed at the big world, she's a natural at loose-leash walking and will blossom even more with practice and experience. New people make her a bit bashful at first, but she warms up quickly into her cheerful, affectionate, smiling self. A home with another well-mannered and playful dog would be Kai's dream come true.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
