Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tasha is a beautiful 3-month old female Tortoiseshell kitten who was brought to the HSOV on October 12, 2024 along with two of her siblings (Tony and Troy). Her third sibling (Toya) arrived on October 17th. The kittens' mother (Tori) was brought to HSOV on October 13th. This little family was found on Hickory Drive in Little Hocking Ohio.
This little dollbaby has a black/orange/beige longhaired coat in a Tortoiseshell pattern, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, nice 'ear furnishings', a wide vertical stripe on her muzzle/forehead, and long black whiskers.
Tasha was given Pyrantel wormer on October 12th and received vaccinations on October 13th. She weighed 2.2 lbs that day. Tasha was given booster vaccines on November 15, 2024.
Tasha and her sister Toya are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room where they enjoy romping/playing to their heart's content and then snuggling up for a catnap together. Toya is rather shy and depends upon her 'big sister' Tasha for reassurance and security.
These photos of Tasha were taken on December 17, 2024 when HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied Tasha and her sister Toya in our 'studio' for their glamour pictures. Tasha posed like a wanna-be model for 'Kitten Fancy Magazine' though she wasn't quite sure what she was auditioning for (smile).
Tasha will be spayed (tentatively in late January 2025) before being adopted by her new family. Naturally we'd love to see her adopted with her sister Toya .. And remember that kittens do much better in pairs.
