Meet Hagrid! He is approximately 2 years old, and is a medium sized mixed breed with the cutest flipped up tail. Hagrid can occasionally be reserved when meeting new people, but warms up with time, revealing his energetic and loving personality. When it comes to other animals and making friends, we are unsure of how Hagrid would do with a resident dog or cat. He may be able to share his space with the proper slow and supervised introductions. Adding this handsome fella to your household means opening your home to a bundle of love, playfulness, and a loyal companion for life.

We ask that anyone in need of surrendering an animal call for an appointment. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a "special admission" shelter we accept all animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals. Thanks to a dedicated and caring staff and volunteers, and the monetary contributions of so many compassionate individuals and businesses in our community, we offer our animals the best of care as they await their new forever home.
