Meet Garfield!
Born November, 2023
Garfield is a sweet and affectionate cat with a calm, mellow demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. Though initially shy, his natural curiosity helps him come out of his shell, especially when exploring his surroundings or meeting new feline friends. Playful at heart, Garfield enjoys engaging in gentle games, but he’s just as content lounging quietly nearby. He’s a vocal companion, often using soft meows to communicate his needs or simply to say hello. His love for other cats shines through, as he thrives in their company, finding comfort and confidence with a furry friend by his side. Once he warms up, Garfield’s affectionate nature makes him a loyal and loving companion.

Tender Loving Cats is a foster based rescue, we require that you apply and be an approved applicant before meeting the cat/kitten(s) in foster homes. We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. The location of each cat/kitten is written in their description on PetFinder. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY. To make an appointment a potential adopter should email meetthekitties@tenderlovingcats.org or leave us a message on the volunteer hotline at 1-866-458-8228(ILUVCATS) Ext 1.
