Born May 23, 2024 Francesca is a female Terrier mix seeking a forever home! She currently weighs about 30 pound and may grow a bit more. Here is a little bit about her from her foster mom: Francesca is energetic, playful, sweet and loving. She can be a bit timid with new people and animals, but once she knows you, she'll love you forever. She plays well with other dogs of all sizes. She is crate trained although she may whine a bit at first, but settles in quickly. Her ideal forever home will have a securely fenced yard, with adults or adults and children over 5. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
