My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddie is a handsome cocker with a complicated personality. This boy has had numerous homes throughout his short life and he is in need of a committed, experienced home. Freddie has done amazing in his foster home; he enjoys his daily walks, plays with toys and naps on the couch. He is super friendly with most people and loves to cuddle in bed. Freddie does resource guard his things from people, he also does not like being approached by a strange man and having them reach out to pet him. He will bark and react to a bigger dog when he is on leash. These are manageable behaviors for someone who is experienced and can read dog behavior. Due to his resource guarding, we are saying he is not good with kids. Freddie does come with free training and at not quite years old, he has a lot of love to give to the right home. Freddie weighs 26 lbs. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application, once received you will be called within 48 hours to answer any questions and schedule a time to meet the dog that you are interested in. If it feels like a match at that time then the adoption is completed with a contract, an adoption fee is paid (ranging from $150-$400) and you receive all medical records with your new dog. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.
