My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey Eddie

Eddie was seen being dumped in an office parking lot. When he arrived, we noticed something with his front leg. Our vet has looked and it seems to be an old untreated injury. He does fine with it though.

Eddie is a bit shy but he loves to be held. He’ll warm up and love you forever so be ready for a shadow.

Eddie is a 3 year old Chihuahua. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He does well with all sized dogs and adults. With kids, he takes a bit more time to feel comfortable with, but he does get along with them.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
